Charlotte Lehrer

LEHRER, CHARLOTTE, Beloved mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother passed away on October 16, 2016. Mrs. Lehrer was 101 years young and just a month shy of her 102nd birthday. Charlotte had an identical twin sister, Muriel Perez who passed away in December 2015, just after the twins celebrated their 100th Birthday together with family and friends. Charlotte was married for 61 years to Harold Lehrer who predeceased her in 2002. He was a Lt. Col. In the US Army and also a detective in NYPD before retiring to their wonderful life in South Florida. She was a talented interior decorator in New York. She was an avid reader, loved knitting, and crocheting, and playing mahjong. Charlotte was very friendly and always had a smile on her face. Mrs. Lehrer is survived by her children Susan Rothenberg and Richard (Phyllis) Lehrer; her grandchildren Lisa Wilf, Adam and Denise Pearl, Dana Negri, and Ashley Lehrer. Great grandmother of Harley and Alex Wilf, Ben and Justin Pearl, and Nicole and Ryan Negri. Charlotte was adored by all her family and friends and will be missed by all. Services at Arlington National Cemetery will take place at a later date . Arrangements under the direction of Riverside-Stanetsky Memorial Chapels, Delray Beach, FL.
