My sincere and heartfelt sympathy to those Who MOURN the loss of a very special man. Don has been a very important part of my life for many years. We have shared family time and holiday times over many many years. I wish that we all take comfort from our memories that we shared over many years with Don.

My sincere sympathy to the family of Don Kumin and especially my dear friend Irene. My heart is with you.
I loved our golf lessons from and how he said he could be a pro.  Loved his jokes even when he had told it before. He was so happy that everyone liked it.
Don was a soft, caring person that everyone liked. He will always be remembered.

I have fond memories of Don and the Kumin family growing up in Cleveland.  We enjoyed family picnics together and one particularly calamity-filled family vacation to the Nevele in NY.  I will always remember Don for his sense of humor and friendship.  My father especially cherished his friendship with Don, both in Cleveland and in Florida.  It was a friendship that lasted almost 60 years. 
Irene, I know that Don adored you, and he was blessed to have such a wonderful wife by his side.
My condolences to Michael, Robin, Jeremy, and Irene.

Always liked Don’s stories and jokes.Sometime they were repeated which made they even funnier. Will miss dinners together and a growing friendship. With our sorrow we say goodbye to Don but will remember with fondness...Marsha & Howard Schurr

We have wonderful golf memories competing together in golf tournaments and helping out at Ladies Member Guest.  We enjoyed many parties here at the club.   Don had a wonderful sense of humor and a fighting spirit dealing with his health.

Uncle Don was such a loving Uncle to me.  He cared and he loved.  We spent every Christmas together in my younger years.  I would so look forward to those days because we got to play with our cousins Michael, Robin and Jeremy.    We liked to play pool on my grandpas pool table.   The food was delicious but there was always that excitement of Santa coming.  We would play in the basement and we would hear bells and stomping upstairs.  Us kids would practically bowl each other over trying to get up the stairs fast enough to see Santa but we were always too late.  We didn’t mind though as we saw the stack of gifts he had left.  One by one we would open our gifts and I learned the excitement of watching others receiving gifts that tickled their fancy.   Those times helped to carry me through my childhood.  I will never forget the deep sense of family they instilled in me.  Uncle Don has always kept in touch with me. Every Christmas he called me and we brought each other up to date on our lives.  He called me family and that meant so much to me that he reached out and found me where ever the army had moved us.  He was upbeat even through the difficult cancer years. I will always love you Uncle Don!!  I will always love all the Kumins and keep you within my heart.  

Our deepest sympathy to the Kumin family, Jeremy, Robin and Michael.  Our family friendship is over 55 years , maybe more. 
Our parents shared a great friendship called ”the couples club”.  I have fond memories of our childhood and those backyard BBQ’s. 
I last saw your Dad a couple of years ago when we all met at the Alan Fant’s house. 
I will miss his great laugh. He always showed great strength throughout is fight with cancer.

Donald was a wonderful guy and  I always enjoyed listening to his jokes. He was a real fighter and I was  very impressed with his determination. He will be missed! My sincere condolences to his family and especially to my dear friend Irene who was a truly devoted wife.With love, Marcia

Michael, Lynne and family, I was so sorry to read about Dad’s death today.  He was a kind and gentle man who has left such a beautiful legacy in all of you!  Many a CFDA meeting table was shared by the Berry’s and the Kumin’s over the years...great memories to cherish!  Know that you will be in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. I was so sad to read of your father's passing. He was truly a mensch and instilled in you the values that brought him such success. You and your dad have seen our family through many losses with grace and compassion. Thank you for all of your kindness.

Every time Don called to check in it brought a smile to our faces. He always had a positive attitude, loved a good joke &  so enjoyed chatting. When we saw him in person he was upbeat and happy to share an evening with his friends. 
We loved this guy. Sending hugs to Irene & thoughts to all of his family.
