He was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. He was the son of the late Samuel and Celia Gross. A graduate of Olney High School, he worked into his 80s as a salesman.
He served in the Army in the Korean War. He was a Master Mason in the Masonic Welcome Lodge 454 in Philadelphia.
He is survived by two daughters, Beth Cole and her husband Merritt and Caren Gross, two grandchildren Samuel Cole and Julie Cole, and his brother Murray Allen Gross and his wife Lillian of Boynton Beach, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his former wife Joan Dinetz and his sister Rita Hymovitz.
Funeral services will be held for relatives at Washington Crossing National Cemetery on May 20, 2025 at 9:30am. Contributions in his memory may be made to your favorite charity.
