Jim Goodman was a friend of mine
Always walked where the sun would shine
I met him strolling  on Lucy Vincent beach
He was the nicest man & kind as a peach 
We struck up a conversation & asked what kind of work do I do 
I said Massage Therapy and he said boy does my body need you
I took care of Jim for 25 years
And like all who heard of his passing I shed a few tears
But I know how amazing a  Man he would be
As he will remain forever loved , as his Legacy 
We will all be better having had Jimmy 
Whether it be friends or family ♥️



Jimmy was always one of  Hank and my favorite people.  His warmth, wit, and kind personality made us and everyone who knew him, care for him deeply.  Dorothy...I hope you and your family are well during this terrible time.    I’ve been trying to locate you since April to offer my condolences, but to no avail.   I hope you receive this message. Dear Dorothy, how very sad I am about Jimmy’s passing.  Every summer he called to find out how I and my family were, even though many years have passed since my dear Hank passed away.  We chatted warmly for a few minutes and caught up about our families.  I always marveled at how kind and sweet he was to call every summer to keep in touch.  Every time I hung up from Jimmy, I wanted to tell Hank what a dear man he was after all these years.  Today it came to my mind that he hadn’t called this summer and I investigated and found he had passed away.  My heart is so sad.  He always was my and Hank’s favorite at Goodman Knitting.  My very warm wishes to you Dorothy and the family during this trying time.  I hope you’re all well and stay well and no more sad tomorrow’s.   Love, Marilyn

James was a  friend and a cousin to my dear departed husband, George.  Never heard him say an unkind word about anyone .  He was a man of the people, kind and caring to all who knew him.     Will miss his calls and funny e mails.    Hugs to cousin  Dorothy.

We are so saddened to learn of your loss. Jim was a wonderful man; his visits to our Aunt Edith Levin in FL (providing her with books and conversation) were meaningful to Aunt Edith and us. 

Richard always looked forward to having lunch with Jim when he returned from Florida. We would talk about families, what’s new in Newton and Brookline and what Jim was doing that day (like playing cards with his buddies).

Paul and I were so saddened to read hear news. Jim was a treasure. We have wonderful memories of his sunshine smile on the beach in MV.  His love and devotion for Dottie and his family is our true north star in our own relationships.  Much love to you all at this most difficult time. Warmly.
