Aunt Jane was an incredible person whenever we were together, which wasn't often enough. As the others have said, she was always so humorous and sweet. She was one of the few people I didn't mind calling me Johnny.
My family's rare visits to Livingston were always enjoyable.
I hope that she's back together with Uncle Jerry.

We called you Totti Fields double, Aunt Jane. You would have us rolling on the floor, always joking. I clearly remember you announcing that after eating 10,000 $ candy bars, you ate 1,00,000. $ worth of candy and had us rolling on the floor! From our weekly dinners at Don’s to Fong’s Garden all good times. You always had a spark. Holidays at our house and other family memories, you will be missed. Go gently into the night.

I am so saddened by Jane’s sudden passing. I clearly remember the first time we met 54 years ago; Jane came to my house to pick up Lisa from a play date. We were new to town and so were the Hammers. Jane and my mom discovered that they grew up in the same neighborhood and went to the same highschool. This meeting sparked a beautiful family friendship that lasted throughout our lives. It was the beginning of so many memories of our families together - from Sunday Chinese dinners to Thursday’s at Don’s, and our trips to Miami for family vacations. Jane was one of the funniest people I have ever known. She will be missed dearly and I hope she is reunited with Jerry and entertaining all of those around her💕

You know I have no words, this doesn't seem real. I don't remember my life without the Hammers in it. I always tell you my favorite memory of Jane was coming to your house and within 5 minutes half of the refrigerator was on the kitchen counter & table, with a mini salami in the toaster oven! There was no one funnier and I always looked forward to seeing her because I knew there would be a ton of laughter. Always remember her that way. She is in my heart always. I am thinking of you & always here if you need.

With Much Love,

I'm so very sorry to hear of Jane's passing. I was just reminiscing with a childhood friend last week and Jane's name came up. She was lovely, had a great sense of humor and fun to be with. My mom Alice Decter would see her occasionally down in Florida. She will be missed!
