On July 24, we said goodbye to our mom, Leah Noskin, at the age of 88. She lived with incredible energy, purpose, and heart.
She was always on the move—working out, taking Zumba and tap classes, and playing canasta and mahjong with friends. She loved watching theatrical productions, listening to symphonies, and anything that stirred the soul.
Mom was deeply involved in her synagogue, from serving as president of her Sisterhood chapters to attending weekly Sabbath services without fail. She cared about people, paid attention to the world around her, and had a quick wit that always kept us on our toes.
More than anything, she led by example. She taught us to be grounded, to live ethically, and to give our best effort in everything we do.
We will miss her spirit, her humor, and the quiet strength she carried through life.
She is survived by her three children: Dennis (Lynn), Steven (Marianne) and Amy (Kenneth). Additionally, she has nine grand children (Joshua, Daniel (Kathryn), Benjamin (Christiania), Lindsey (Joshua), Jordan, Dylan (Miriam), Mollie, Sam and Max). Her sister, Miriam Manca along with a plethora of nieces and nephews. Last, she was blessed with one Great Grandchild, Parker Matthew.
