Lewis H Pustilnik

Lewis Harold Pustilnik was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on August 2, 1945. Lew passed away peacefully surrounded by friends and family at the age of 78 in his home in Boca Raton, FL on August 31, 2023.

Lew might have been small in stature but big in personality. He was outgoing, friendly, generous, and when there was fun to be had he was there.

He graduated from Germantown High School in Philadelphia in 1963. Lew lived and started a family with his first wife in Dresher, Pennsylvania before relocating to Boca Raton in 1982. In 1986, during the high holidays, while attending B’Nai Torah, he met the love of his life and future wife of 34 years, Daniele Calfon. He got married, had a daughter and spent the rest of his life providing for those around him. His passion for soccer and the love of the people he played with will always be part of his legacy.

He was a man of many careers. From the paper industry to construction to computers then contracting. He had a remarkable ability to connect with people. His enthusiasm and dedication were truly inspirational. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, positive attitude, and a deep love for his family and friends. He will forever leave a lasting impact on the lives of those around him, as his positivity and zest for life were truly infectious.

Lew is survived by his wife, Daniele; his brother, Alan Pustilnik; four children, Michael (Jennifer), Jeffrey (Carrie), David (Joy) and Shawna (Courtney); seven grandchildren, Chaya, Grayden, Rylee, Zoe, Hadley, Taro and Ella; as well as many loving nieces, nephews and dear friends. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to any cancer charity of your choice.

A Celebration of Life for Lew is scheduled for Sunday September 3, 2023 at 2pm at Riverside-Stanetsky Delray.

A memorial service for Lewis will be held Sunday, September 3, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at Riverside - Stanetsky Memorial Chapels, 7205 West Atlantic Ave, Delray Beach, FL 33446.
