Lynn Michaelson

Lynn (Davis) Michaelson of Lantana, FL passed away on June 24, 2021. Lynn had been married to Allan Michaelson (who passed away in 2015) for 62 years. Lynn is survived by her loving daughter Cindy, son Steven, and daughter-in-law Judy. Also surviving are three beautiful grandchildren—Sophia, Robert, and Daniel—who were the lights of her life. Lynn was a devoted sister to brother Danny (who passed away in 2000) and aunt to nephew Gary (who was like another son) and nieces Elaine, Toby, and Sharon.

Lynn was born in The Bronx, NY on November 26, 1930. After moving to Newark, NJ and then marrying Allan, the love of her life, in 1953, the couple moved to Parsippany, NJ, where they raised their family. Lynn and Allan moved to Florida in 1996.

In her younger years, Lynn had an opportunity to be a model, and she even appeared in a cigarette ad. But her family was where her heart was. After her children got older, Lynn worked as Office Manager for Aetna Maintenance in NJ. She loved playing cards and mahjong with her many lifelong friends and watching romantic comedies and the Hallmark Channel. She was a person who would hold your hand and look into your eyes when she asked how you were. She was kind, grateful for everything she had, and never complained about anything, even as she battled muscle disease for many years.
