I was a student at New York school of printing ( old and new) 
My name is Irwin Blum, I do not know if you would remember me, but you were my teacher at the new school. You were my drama teacher also. We did a show about Johan Gutenberg and Benjamin Franklin.  I was reminded of you and that show when I saw the obituary of Morton. I wish you the best from here on.

We'll always remember Morty's warm smile, twinkling eyes and impish greeting of, "Welcome to our humble, but honest home," whenever we would visit him and his dear wife Joyce at their lovely house. 
He and Stanley would then  reminisce about their days at NYU and learning solfeggio; Morty's influence at Five Towns College in the Jazz Commercial Music program with his instrument repair courses; and the years in the club  date music business doing weddings and bar mitzvahs.  Morty would often regale us at the piano.
