Nettie Kanter

Nettie Kanter, beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2024, in Boca Raton, FL, at the age of 98. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Nathan, her parents, her sister and brother-in-law, and her son-in-law.

Nettie was a devoted and caring individual, always putting her family first. She was highly intelligent, kind-hearted, and had a deep love for animals. Nettie cherished her role as a wife, mother, and grandmother; her family meant the world to her. She is survived by her son Joel (partner Pamela); and daughters, Paula (married to Jerry) and Linda; and her four grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held on Friday, February 9, 2024.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Nettie's memory to Jewish Family Services of Greater Seattle, Doctors Without Borders, or St. Jude Children's Hospital. These organizations held a special place in Nettie's heart. Contributions made in her honor will continue to make a difference in the lives of others.

Nettie Kanter will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of her family and friends.
