Sandy was fiercely independent, wildly creative, deeply loving and always, always in charge. She was a serial entrepreneur, constantly starting businesses just because a new idea came to mind. She loved her family with no limits. Her children Ivy and Rich were her greatest joy in life and watching them succeed gave her the greatest nachas. She was their fiercest advocate and biggest cheerleader. When she became a grandma she reveled in glory. Jason and Rachel were a blessing. She was stubborn, funny, creative, loyal, protective and generous. She was a force. But for us... she was just Mom. She loved her family with everything she had. If you were lucky enough to be her friend, it was for life.
