Sanford was born in 1941 and lived for many years in Rochester, New York. He graduated Pharmacy School at the University of Buffalo . He then worked at the University of Rochester Medical Center and continued to practice at retail pharmacies until buying his own drug store in Rochester.
Sandy was a loving husband to Cheryl for 56 years. He leaves behind his sons Brian and Michael and daughter Lisa Duckman Bennett. Cherished grandfather to Miranda , Emily, Sabrina and Sydney Duckman, and to Rebecca & Logan Bennett. He leaves behind his daughter/son-in-laws, Alexandria Gionfriddo, Kristina Duckman, and Bob Bennett .
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Sanford to the Trustbridge Hospice.
