Mr. Solomon Demel, 92, passed away on December 27, 2025. Born on June 4, 1933, he proudly served in the U.S. Navy before embarking on a career in advertising. He later worked in the watch industry, where he ascended to the executive level.
Mr. Demel enjoyed tennis, poker, painting, the New York TImes (including the crossword puzzles), classical music, opera, Sinatra, watching sports (especially the NY Mets), reading and movies. He was passionate about his Jewish heritage.
He is lovingly remembered by his sons Todd (wife Irene) Demel, Eric (wife Felicia)Demel and Harris (partner Kari), stepchildren Brandt, Stella and Randy (partner Laura), grandchildren Taylor, Jared, Sasha and Alex, great-grandchild Jayden.
A funeral service will be held at Riverside-Stanetsky Memorial Chapels, located at 7205 West Atlantic Ave, Delray Beach, FL 33446, on January 8, 2026, from 11:00 am to 11:45 am.
Interment will be private and for immediate family only
