

She was born in St Charles, Michigan. She lived in Saginaw, Michigan and Punta Gorda, Florida before residing in Powderly.
Betty Wallin was a teacher for over 35 years. She was an avid reader and liked gardening. Betty traveled extensively. She was a writer and had written and published several stories.
She is survived by her husband Fred Wallin, sister Joan Prater of Arizona, brother William Krause of Wisconsin, daughters, Leslie Napolitano of Lakeland Florida and Brenda Brandt and Larry Darmer of Ruidoso New Mexico, and granddaughter Brandi and Bryan Britton of Grand Blanc, Michigan with two great granddaughters, Katelyn and Ava Zabel.
There will be a memorial service at Grace Lutheran church in Paris Texas on June 17th. Another memorial will be held at The Lutheran Church of the Cross, Port Charlotte Florida at a later date.
