Robbie and family,
I am very sorry to hear about the passing of Bobby. We had some great times on the 18 hole pasture. He always had a smile and a laugh for everyone. Peace and comfort to all.

Bobby was a huge contributor to the passion I had for Texas style breakdown fiddling. He not only mentored me on the rhythm guitar style but kept me a steady stream of recordings of the great fiddlers from Texas. He was a dear friend and will be missed by all who knew him. His shared talents will be around for generations to come. Thank you Bobby!,

Too many memories of Bobby to single out just one. But he was a good friend, a great guitarist, and a generous accompanist. He always enjoyed playing with the great Texas fiddlers, but he also was always willing, even eager, to play with the kids just learning to play fiddle and the "not so great" fiddlers, like me. Bobby, you'll be missed at all the Texas fiddle contests.
