Grandma you meant the world to me, you were like my solid rock that I looked up to as a child, I knew deep down that I would become a strong woman like you and for that I'm proud of, grandma I'm so thankful that we found our way back into each others lives and were able to smile and laugh together and remember the good old days, I can remember the time when I came to Sherman and we all stayed up late and were talking bout hunted houses and haunted woods how you were so determined to just get up and go,,and you had aunt stacy lookin up on computer at different areas,and we just laughed it all off,,, grandma I also remembered being a child and getting up in the middle of the night to get water and you would be at the dinning table with a glass of tea playing solitaire...and how you taught me how to play my first game....grandma I love you and will miss you......

God;s garden god looked around his garden and found an empty place.he then looked down upon the earth and saw your tired face. he put his arms around you and lifted you to rest. god,s garden must be beautiful he always takes the best. he knew that you were suffering. he knew you were in pain. he knew that you would never get well on earth again. he saw the road was getting rough. and the hills were hard to climb.so he closed your weary eyelids.and whispered. peace be thine.it broke our hearts to lose you. but you didn't go alone for part of us went with you. the day god called you home.

Stacy, I'm sorry for your loss.  I know how much your mom meant to you.  I never met her but I'm sure she was a wonderful person by the way her daughter conducts herself!

grandma was so much to me she tought me so much i looked up to her and grandpa for what a relationship should be they were so happy together i will miss her dearly i only hope i leave such an impression on my grand kids. I love you grandma cant wait till we are all reunited

Momma, how can I possibly put into words everything that you mean to me?  The emptiness I feel without you here?  Not a day goes by that I don't think of picking up the phone to call you while I'm at work or wishing you were there to have coffee with me in the mornings.  I miss your words of encouragement, your arms around my neck, the kiss on the cheek at night.  I hope I make you proud in the time I have left here on earth.  Can you see me? I love you mom, with every fiber of my being.  Remember how at night when you would put Jacque and I to bed, we would say to each other "Goodnight, I love you with all my heart, forever and ever"? At the age of 78, living a full life blessed by God, carrying out her duties according to his instructions.  Our words just can not emphasize enough meaning of her heart toward her husband, children, and her entire family, nor her concern for others.  I truely believe and feel that King Solomon within his writtings of Proverbs in Ch 31:10-31 where he exalts the characteristics of a woman within the boundaries of: excellence, moral worth, ability, nobility, and marital fidelity describes this woman we call "Mom".  Which inturn shows the aspect of wisdom in actions.  A Virtuous Woman.  This is the very lady that we children: Cathy, David, Billy, Nancy, Ronald, Stacy, Jacque, Linda, and Sandy, all family members, and friends, had the opportunity to love, hold, cherish, and share thoroughout her life upon this earth.  I feel I am the most blest man within this universe to have been granted a birthright born of this lady and still upon this day, witness her departure into the eternal heavenly kingdom to dwell with the very ONE she so desired to be with - Her Savior Jesus Christ. Grandma, I feel so relieved that you are no longer in pain and are able to see your love again (Papa). I miss you like crazy and will forever, but I rejoice in the fact that you are dancing and singing with the angels. We love you so much! Until we meet again..

An angel crossed through the gates of heaven today. Your beautiful heart was met with the beautifulness of heaven. Memories, legacies and families will continue to grow all from the love you so unselfishly gave. Our lives will never be the same or complete now but we cherish every moment  we had with you. My Mother, How do I describe you??? I'll start with the deep love and pride you have for your family. Always forgiving, always ready to help.Always wishing you would win the lottery so you could help all your family. You could be very exhausting, frustrating and a minute later absolutely hillariuos. Like the day you came in dancing to cajun music I had playing and told me "I still got "IT". Honestly I thought I was going to roll out of my chair laughing. The smug look on your face. It was priceless. To sum this up, My Mother-My Friend. You will always be in my heart. I am so proud to call you MAMA!!!

Grandmother  how we talk about the old days like the farm,going  fishing,how we would all USE to get to gather and aunts and uncles would play their guitars and the aunts would sing songs and you would tell me to never for get them  and i never will and i cant let you go just like  i cant let mom and john go i will hold yall in my heart for the rest of my life I love you and all ways will love David Norris

Stacy, Nancy and families, I just learned of "Momma's" passing, an odd coincidence, my dad passed on the same day.  Thoughts and prayers go out to you, may God's grace ease your grief.  I will miss her!  Kathy
