Delores Deegee Marie Powers Taylor

Visitation for Delores will be from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M., Thursday, November 4, 2010 at Bratcher Funeral Home, 401 W. Woodard St., Denison, TX 75020. Funeral service will be at 11 A.M., Friday, November 5, 2010 at Bratcher Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Michael Braxton officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, 1501 Hwy. 91 North, Denison, TX 75020.

Pallbearers will be Larry Wayne Taylor, Jr., Brian Kane, Rocky Taylor, Kent McCollun, Dominac Barnett & Robert Wayne Hampton.

Delores was born August 31, 1943 in Alice, Texas, the daughter of Rufus Powers & Helen Marie Borders (Riggs). She worked as a cook at Brentwood Place in Denison and was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by husband Larry; sons Lewis Dale Herd & wife Michelle of Denison, Clay Herd & wife Rhonda of Denison, Larry Taylor, Jr. & wife Ana of Denison, Rocky Taylor & wife Jennifer of Sherman; brother Charles Green of Tyler; sister Elizabeth Hipps of Sumter, SC; grandchildren Jennifer Michelle Brettelle, Cason Dale Herd, Teighlor Destiny Herd, Lewis Dylan Herd, Joshua Dalton Huebner, Athena Jo Allen Dooley, Christian Clayton Herd, Steven Blake Herd, Brook Lynn Taylor, Cynthia Diane Taylor, Rocky Lynn Taylor, Jr., Matthew Taylor; great-grandchildren Kirstin Paige Morris, Ryan Cole Morris, Joshua Warren Brettelle, London Alyzah Herd, Cason Dale Herd, Jr., J-Lynn Conner Herd. She was preceded in death by her parents & daughter Valery Jean Wren.
