Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, October 20, 2014 at Fairview Cemetery Chapel with Rev. David Hudgens officiating.
Dennis was born on Friday, September 28, 1945 in Denison, Texas, the son of Matthew Thomas and Kathleen Adams Thomas. He was greens keeper and superintendent at Denison Country Club.
He is survived by brothers David Thomas & wife Barbara of Plano, Texas, Steven Thomas of Denison; sister Carol Thomas of Arlington; Bailey, his golden retriever; miniature schnauzers Sadie Mae and Rambo.
He is preceded in death by his wife Gaylan, parents and golden retriever Josey.
