Dora Lee Matthews Walker

Visitation will be one hour before service at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, October, 16, 2012 at Fairview Cemetery Chapel.

Funeral Service will be at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at Fairview Cemetery Chapel.

Dora was born Thursday, August 24, 1916 to George Washington Matthews and Bertha Jane McElroy in Lone Oak, Texas. Dora worked for Todd Cleaners as a seamstress for many years, she was a member of Ladies Auxiliary in the 1950’s, she was a member of MT. Pleasant Baptist Church where Dora taught Sunday school and she loved to quilt.

She is survived by sons Wayne Scally & wife Ann of Denison, Texas, Bill E. Scally & Wife Karen of Franklin, North Carolina; brother-in-law Weldon & Darla Walker of Sherman, Texas; seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; fourteen great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Forrest Walker; sister Nora L. Miller; daughters Sally Mae and Reba Nell Scally; three grandchildren Terry W. Scally, Sherry Morrison, Kevin Scally.
