Edith A. Ketcham, of Denison, Texas entered into rest on Saturday September 15, 2018. Edith entered into life on Wednesday January the 14th, 1920 in Tarentum, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Beverly Hills High school of Beverly Hills, California. On July 30th, 1942 Edith married the love of her life Robert Harold Ketcham. Robert and Edith were faithful and active members at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Denison Texas. Edith taught preschool for many years at St. Luke’s, she served on the Alter Guild and also served as a volunteer at Texoma Memorial Hospital on the volunteer auxiliary for 22 years. She also served on the Denison Service League, Helping Hands, Friends of the Library and Frontier Village. Edith also served at St. Luke’s ECW for 58 years.
Edith is survived by her children: Robert Harold Ketcham Jr. and wife Dianne of Conroe, Texas, Edy Hudson and husband Jerry of Lawton, Oklahoma, Candus Dickson and husband Robert of Denison, Texas, Georgette Wiese and husband Brian of Sherman, Texas, Bonnie Manley and husband Richard of Garland, Texas. Edith was preceded in death by her husband, daughter Penny Raines, and her parents.
Family night will be on Friday September 28, 2018 at Bratcher Funeral Home from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM.
A memorial service will be held at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Denison Texas on Saturday September 29, 2018 at 10:30 AM, with The Very Rev. Don Perschell. with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery.
