Elizabeth Beatrice Jones James

She was born on November 30, 1925 to Maxwell A. Jones and Era Mae (Green) Jones in Thornton, Texas. She was the eldest daughter of four children.

Elizabeth married the love of her life, Robert S. James, on August 31, 1945 and they were blessed with two children. She became an LVN and worked for Dr. Arthur Stoolfire for 25 years. She was a member of Trinity UNC and served for many years. Elizabeth was a loving wife, mother and Nani to all and will be missed dearly.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, husband Robert S. James and daughter Sherry Brown.

She is survived by her son Philip and wife Debbie of Denison, Texas; one sister Jo Marie Bush of Roxton, Texas; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 22, 2015 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm at Bratcher Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be Friday, October 23, 2015 at 10:00 am at Trinity UMC, officiated by Rev. Jimmy Greene, Rev. Louella Williams and Rev. Mike Fortenberry.

Pallbearers will be Brian James, Brad James, Keyton James, Westly Snell, Richard Vaughn and James Trainor.
