The family will be at Bratcher Funeral Home for visitation Monday, July 27, 2015 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Denison Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Rusty Denny officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.

Erika was born in Germany on Friday, March 15, 1940, the daughter of Herman & Frieda Luppert. She came to the United States as a soldier’s wife in 1959 and taught herself to speak and read English. She loved to crochet and read and was very active in her church since coming to America. She loved her grandchildren very much.

She is survived by sons Mark King & wife Debra of Denison, Kenneth King & wife Karen of Moore, Oklahoma, Mike King & wife Kaila of Ringling, Oklahoma; daughters Stephanie Hensley & husband Charles of Sherman, Texas, Sue Kelley & husband Bill of Burneyville, Oklahoma; brother Ernst Luppert of Germany; sister Hanne Braunlis of Germany; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents and grandson Hudson King.
