During their life together they took many day trips with their children, including trips to Colorado, as he loved the mountains. He once had a trailer house in Ruidoso, New Mexico. Frank enjoyed taking his wife to Shreveport to play slot machines. He also enjoyed dancing with his wife and strived to ensure she and the children had lasting memories of their life together. Riding motorcycles and eating peppermint ice cream would bring a smile to his face every time. His smile was contagious and he always looked on the bright side. In his later years Frank found joy in making shadow puppets with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
