James was born July 19, 1933 in Campbell, Mo. Upon finishing high school, he enlisted in the Air Force in 1951 where he completed a tour in Korea. On his return he was stationed at Perrin Air Force Base in Denison, where he met the love of his life Billie Gee. They had 3 children and were married for 64 years.
"Jim" worked for over 30 years for Yellow Freight before retiring. He then worked for Churchill for 19 years and finally at O'Reilly's before he truly retired. He was a Master Mason for more than 60 years.
He enjoyed hunting, restoring cars, drag racing and spending time with his family. He was a loving, kind, and giving man and will be forever missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents Alva and Mabel Lynn and his great granddaughter Adalynn Price.
He is survived by his wife Billie Lynn of Pottsboro,Tx. his sister Yvonne Wisecarver of Gardner, Kansas, Daughters Donalda Sturman and Denice Price of Pottsboro, son James Lynn of Crowley, TX., eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
There will be a celebration of his life later at their home for family and friends to share stories of Jim "Papaw".
