Joshua was my father. He passed away on February 13th of 2020. Whats sick is that he hated Valentine's day, its also hilarious though. He was my dad, my best friend, someone i could trust and talk to. I miss him everyday, its definitely hitting the hardest these days now that i grow up. I love you dad, til Valhalla.

I met Josh in 2009 and we had and instant connection. He came and left out of my life various times but everytime we reunited the instant connection we had was just as strong. He will stay in my heart forever. 

I met my husband in 2012. I fell in love with him immediately. His humor and kind heart is what drew me to him the most. That and his incredible smile. He was the most loving and caring person. Mere words could never do justise to the goodness of his soul. He would do anything and everything for those he loved. My fondest memories of Joshua are when he was being the supreme grill master, family game nights and his uncanny way of always winning Uno, and his love of making people laugh. 

RIP my Love


I was Joshua's biomedical program instructor at DeVry University, Irving, Texas. Josh graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering Technology. Josh was one of my finest students. I remember how he would sit in the front of the classroom, quiet and attentive. He was a fine person, well-liked by everyone. I am shocked and saddened by this tragic news. I will not forget Josh.

I met Josh back when I was 15 years old. Even though we lost touch over the last couple years until recently, he was always such a great, charismatic friend! He was very kind when my dad passed in January. I will miss him, his smile & his witty sense of humor! Rest easy now friend. 

Josh was my co-worker, mentor, and friend. I hadn’t known him for very long as I only moved to Sherman about 8 months ago. However, Josh was my first friend in this area and we got along very well. I always enjoyed spending time with him as we had the same sick sense of humor, taste in music, and we both loved video games. Occasionally we would go out to his favorite bar  or he would come over with his kids to enjoy some pizza and a horror movie. 

Josh passed on so much of his knowledge and skills to me that I can without a doubt say I’m confident in my abilities for work. I know everything he taught me is gonna be put to good use for the rest of my career and for that I’m eternally grateful to him. You will be missed very much brother. I love you. Till Valhalla. 


Josh and I were young Soldiers together in Fort Lewis, WA. He used to crash at my place on post and we’d hang out, play video games, and have a good time. We were inseparable for a time.  We were always there for each other, whether it was deploying or family issues. He knew he always had a place to stay. He was always an outgoing guy that loved to make people laugh. Sometimes it would be something silly he did or something witty he would say that would make others chuckle. I valued his friendship and our camaraderie. I just hope he is at peace now.

I've known Josh since he started working at Texoma Medical Center. At first he was quiet, but it didn't take long before he got to know you and was cracking jokes or making you smile.  His love for animals is what got my attention. We would often talk about his fur kids as well as mine, comparing notes and having many laughs. 
He was helpful with the equipment that I needed checked and never complained about any of it. 
His jokes and smiles will be missed. Walking into Biomed is no longer the same. 
I appreciate his service to our Country. 
I hope he found peace and I hope he realizes how many people he touched over the years and we all have great memories of him.

Joshua was a great support to me after my loss of my husband and daughter. He reached out often with kind supportive words. He was funny and insight.
He will be missed . I am deeply sorry for his family . 

I met Josh in college, and we worked on our senior project together.  I remembered his strong work ethic and dependability from our college days, so I asked him to join my team in 2016 to repair medical equipment.  In that role, Josh demonstrated strong technical abilities.  He loved fixing equipment, helping people, and making them laugh.  He never gave up, and we could always count on him to save the day when something was thought to be broken beyond repair.  He was a great person, and he will be missed.  Rest in peace Josh.

Joshua Knight 

I came into Josh’s life in his later years working at the Texoma Hospital. On hire, he immediately took me under his wing to insure I wasn’t left out. Any question asked; no problem, he had an answer. It wasn’t long until I realized that Josh was brilliant and took a lot of pride in his craft which was specializing in medical equipment. This man has helped me tremendously over the past two years and I can’t thank him enough for that. I can’t say enough good things about this awesome guy. Josh will truly be missed and I’m praying his soul and family find peace. I love you brother. Rest easy. 

I was Knight’s team leader first, then squad leader later, but more importantly, his friend. As a soldier, he had a quiet reserve about him, you never had to worry about him getting the job done. As a friend, I’ll always remember late trips to get food, rainy days with nothing to do but play games, and the last minute road trips. He later used me for job references and always referred to me as “boss”. I took a lot of pride in that. Rest easy.

All I keep thinking back to is the days in the army post-deployment to Iraq when we would drive that backroad to the bbq shack blasting country music and Josh intentionally screwing up the words to a Kenny Chesney song. I’ll keep those memories going and continue to say prayers.
