Lillian Louise Brannan Newell

A memorial service will be held at Bratcher Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 P.M., on Thursday, December 8, 2016. The Rev. John Matey of Joshua’s Crossing will officiate. Burial will be at Georgetown Cemetery in Pottsboro, following the memorial service. A meal for the family will be held at Joshua’s Crossing following the interment.

Lillian was born in Lander, Wyoming on Wednesday, October 4, 1933 to Luther Brannan and Hazel Faris Brannan. She married David Newell on October 22, 1949 in Lander.

Lillian worked at home as a housewife and proudly supported Dave in his career all over the world.

Lillian was preceded in death by her husband Dave, her parents, and a son David (Davy) and daughter Elizabeth (Libby), brother Harvey and sister Shirley.

She is survived by a sister Joy; granddaughter Katy & husband William; granddaughter Molly; great-granddaughter Coby; great-grandson William II; several nieces, nephews, as well as many friends.
