Lillie Mae Cooper

The family will be at Bratcher Funeral Home for visitation from 4:00 – 5:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 7, 2012.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at Bratcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, 1501 Hwy. 91N, Denison, TX 75020.

Pallbearers will be Steve Durr, Steve Smokoska, John Roth, Robert Cooper, Sean Cooper and Brent Dunham.

Lillie was born in Matador, Texas on July 29, 1919, the daughter of Elmer Lee Smallwood and Lillian Myrtle Pruitt. She was married to Lewis Cooper and he preceded her in death in 1997. She was a seamstress for Levi Strauss Co. for 24 years.

Lillie is survived by sons Dewayne Cooper & wife Marjorie of Dallas, Don Cooper & wife Cindy of Eustace, Texas; daughter Frances(Cooper) Roth & husband Thomas of Plano, Texas, grandchildren Stasi Torrez & husband Don, Robert Cooper & wife Danielle, Sean Cooper & wife Lisa, Kelly Dunham & husband George, John Roth & wife Kara and 12 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by husband Lewis; parents; sisters Jewel Thompson, Lorene Thompson, Beatrice Hickman Corbin, Laverene Norris; brothers Elmer Leon Smallwood, Billy Dean Smallwood and Robert Smallwood.
