Linda Young Young Sneed

Linda grew up in Dallas, Texas, graduating from Adamson High School. She attended Tyler Junior College, where she was a member of the Apache Bells. She received her elementary teaching degree from Texas Tech. She also held a MS in counseling from TAMU-Corpus Christi. After teaching, Linda worked in the family business.

Linda married Richard Sneed in 1977 in Corpus Christi. They moved to Denison in 2000 to spend their retirement years.

Linda is survived by her husband Richard Sneed; brother Ron Young and wife Barbara of Rockport, Texas; nephew Donnie Young and wife Kelley of Houston, Texas; niece Maggie Garza and husband Dax of Houston, Texas; nephew Hunter Young and wife Leslie of Portland, Oregon.

She was preceded in death by her parents and infant brother Donald Marshal Young.

Linda’s funeral will be Saturday, June 14, 2014 at Waples UMC in Denison, with Dr. Roy Spore officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with the service at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery.
