Louis William Jordan

Visitation will be held at Bratcher Funeral Home from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M., Friday, April 18, 2014.

Funeral services will be held at Grace Lutheran Church in Sherman at 11:00 A.M, Saturday, April 19, 2014 with Pastor Michael Mattil officiating. Burial will follow at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman.

Pallbearers are Dennis Jordan, John Hennessey, Patrick Jordan, Andy Hennessey, Christopher Hinds, and Jordan Mason.

Louis was born in Fredericksburg, Texas on Saturday, September 29, 1934, the son of Felix Jordan and Elise Stoffers Jordan. He served in the US Marine Corps from October 1951 to May 1953. He worked in the oil exploration business for 23 years, and then Shaffer Trucking until his retirement. On August 10, 2002 he married Starley Dishman. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Sherman.

He is survived by wife Star Jordan of Sherman; daughters Kathryn Stroman, Debbie Mason, Laura Evans; grandchildren Christopher Hinds, Jordan, Meredith and Caroline Mason; Hope and Cole Evans.
