Louise Clara Fassino Schindler

Rosary will be at 6:30 P.M., Monday, August 8, 2011 at Bratcher Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 314 N. Rusk, Denison, TX 75020 with Rev. Stephen Mocio officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Denison, Texas.

Pallbearers will be Michael Schindler, John Schindler, Louis Schindler, Joseph Schindler, Doyle Phillips and Harold Spencer.

Louise was born December 16, 1914 in Krebs, Oklahoma, the daughter of Angelo Fassino and Marie Fabrizo. She married Rupert Schindler on October 26, 1946 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Denison. He preceded her in death on October 12, 2006.

Her mother died when she was three months old and she was raised by her aunt, Clara Ferrante in Denison. She was a graduate of St. Xavier Academy in Denison; was a life-long member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Denison and was a homemaker. For a number of years, until it closed, she worked in the cafeteria at St. Xavier Academy.

She is survived by sons James Schindler & wife Patsy of Denison; David Schindler & Becky Roberts of Denison; grandson Michael Schindler of Denison; sister Jennie Addison Mc-Dougal of McAlester, OK; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, sister Josephine Naron Rushing; brothers Mike, Nick, Tony Fassino; aunt Clara Ferrante; Olivia Fisher; Mary Derichsweiler, Stephen Fabrizo.

Special thanks to Country Style Health Care of Texas and the Hospice Center for the care they gave Louise during her last weeks and special caregivers Christel, Jessica and Jennifer.
