DENISON – Mack David Cherry, 63, passed away Sunday, December 9, 2012 at his residence in Denison.

The family will be at Bratcher Funeral Home, 401 W. Woodard St., Denison, TX 75020 for visitation from 6:00 – 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 11, 2012.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at Fairview Cemetery Chapel with Rev. Allen Snider officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, 1501 Hwy. 91N, Denison, TX 75020.

Mack was born in Denison, Texas on Friday, May 20, 1949, the son of Jimmie D. Cherry and Betty V. Jones Cherry. He graduated from UCLA majoring in Political Science; worked for Lenox Saw & Tool for many years and became involved in local real estate.

He is survived by son Mark Cherry & wife Kesha of Denison; brothers Jay Cherry of Denison, Ben Cherry of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and grandchild Marleen Cherry.

We rode many a mile on those old horses, Spot and Comanche Bill, down in that river bottom, and I spent many a night at your house, eating your mother's great cooking.
