Nelrose Emma Burkhardt

Nelrose E. Burkhardt passed away peacefully at home in her sleep on Sunday, January 9, 2011 at the age of 82. Nelrose was born December 13, 1928 in Bulverde, Texas to Wilhelm Otto and Minnie Stahl. On January 22, 1956 she married Milton W. Burkhardt in New Braunfels, Texas.

Nelrose is survived by her daughter, Minnie Burkhardt, son-in-law, Thomas A. Curtis, granddaughter Natalie Noel Curtis and grandson Christian Curtis, all of Denison, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Burkhardt, her parents, two brothers and one sister.

Private services are under the arrangement of Bratcher Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Denison, Texas

She loved her family and showed that love every day by working hard to take care of everyone in it. She loved the Lord more than anyone and lived her life accordingly. Her value cannot be measured in earthly treasure.
