Patricia Lee Smith Wells

The family will be at Bratcher Funeral Home for visitation from 6:00 – 7:00 P.M., Thursday, December 27, 2012.

Funeral service will be held at Bratcher Funeral Home Chapel, 401 W. Woodard St., Denison, TX 75020, Friday, December 28, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Keith Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Cedarlawn Memorial Park, 5805 Texoma Parkway, Sherman, TX 75090.

Pallbearers will be Matt Wells, Nick Wells, Kurt Wells, Dain Lawrence and Ed Christman.

Patricia was born Friday, April 3, 1931 in Amarillo, Texas, the daughter of Cecil Clay Smith and Velma Lee Owens Smith. She was married Ted Wells and he preceded her in death. She graduated from Denison High School in 1947; worked for Tarrant County in the Deputy District Clerk’s office for 30 years; loved the Denison Yellow Jackets and Dallas Cowboys and loved to dance. Most of all, she loved watching John Wayne movies.

She is survived by son Kenneth Wells of Denison; sister Barbara Ratliff of Denison; companion Marvin Vincent of Denison; grandchildren Matthew Wells & wife Kelly, Nicholas Wells & wife Julie, Kurt Wells; great-grandchildren Spencer Wells, Maggie Wells, Evan Wells, Madden Wells; nieces Stephanie Lawrence, Vicky Followell and companion “Booger Bear”, her Pomeranian Poodle dog.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.
