I owe Russell allot.. He hired me at the Katy Railroad, back in 1976.. I had to pass a typing test, but couldn’t type worth a nickel.. So they, Russell and Mack Whitson, let me go for, what felt like an eternity, on a 10 minute test, to make sure I passed it!! I owe my RR career to Russell!! He was a very nice man.. My condolences to all his family.. He will be missed!!
