Tommy G. Plummer

The family will be at Bratcher Funeral Home in Denison, Texas for visitation Saturday, July 18, 2015 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm.

Funeral services will be held at Bratcher Funeral Home Chapel Sunday, July 19, 2015 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Doug Horchak officiating.

Burial will be at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Dallas, Texas Monday, July 20, 2015 at 10:00 am.

Tommy was born Saturday, May 20, 1944 in Point, Texas, the son of Cleo Pauleen Plummer. He married Dorothy May Rush on June 15, 1968.

He graduated from Rains High School. Tommy started driving a tractor at age 4 and he worked picking and hoeing cotton. He later worked for White Advertising and various other companies building billboard signs. He was a member of Dallas Arms Collectors about 45 years, the National Rifle Association and the Texas State Rifle Association.

He enjoyed going to gun shows, fishing, reading and watching TV. He also enjoyed hunting in Mexico, Canada, Alaska, Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho, Argentina and all over the United States.

Tommy is survived by his wife Dorothy of Sherman; brother Roger Don & wife Shirley Hooten; nephew Nathaniel Hooten; nieces Brook Hooten and Morgan Jerry.

He is predeceased by his mother and grandparents.
