

Abe A. Solano, 66 of Denver, CO, passed away September 19, 2014. He was born on May 24, 1948 to Pete & Della Solano of Denver, Colorado. He is survived by his wife Cecilia Solano, his children Jennifer Solano (Art), Christine Berry (Jonathan), Abe Solano, Jr. and Ramiro Solano. Sisters: Bertha Brabo, Anita Archuleta, Esther Chavez (Ray), Josie Bemis (Jim), Juanita Ramos, Dorothy Sargent (Mike), Margaret Romero (Dave) and Louise Perez (Jess). Brothers: John Solano (Sandralee) and Jim Solano (Shelly). Preceded in death by Pete & Della Solano (Parents), Alex Solano (Brother), Tomas Solano (Brother), Tony H. Lovato (Father-in-law), Pauline Lovato (Mother-in-law) and Lionel R. Lovato (Brother-in-law). Abe served in the Army and was honorably discharged as a Sargent E-5. He was retired from telecommunications, formerly employed by Mountain Bell, AT&T, TRWest and Denver Health. He was a member of CWA 7777 and IBEW Local 68. Abe coached softball, loved to tell jokes and visit with family and friends. His greatest passions were watching the Denver Broncos and singing, he was affectionately known as “Abe Cash”. Abe & Cecilia have 9 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation Thursday, September 25, 2014 6-9 p.m. at Trevino Mortuary, 300 S. Logan St., Denver, CO 80209
Interment: Tuesday, September 30, 2014 1:30 p.m. at Ft. Logan National Cemetery Staging Area "B". Please arrive by 1:15 to staging area.
