Alice Barham Hall Watkins passed away on April 28, 2013. She was 94. Alice was born in San Diego, California on October 21, 1918. Her parents were Adnee Virginia Wright and Wilford Raymond Hall. She was the oldest of four girls. Alice and family moved a lot as her father was a chaplain in the Navy, she spent time in Guam, Shanghai, Quantico, Virginia and Macon, Missouri.
She graduated from high school in San Diego after attending several high schools in their travels. The family settled in Long Beach, California where her father started Lakewood Village Church. Alice graduated from the College of the Pacific and there she was introduced to James Elton Watkins. They were married on July 3, 1941.
Alice and Jim had three boys, Richard Radcliffe (Valerie), Douglas Elton (Lynne), and David (Dea). Other surviving relatives include her four grandchildren, Sara Gallegos, Peter Watkins, Jon Watkins, and Susie Murphy and five Great-grandchildren, Katie, Ben, Mateo, Luca and PJ (Patrick Douglas) along with many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death are her parents, her husband, and her 3 sisters, Holly, Mary, and Adnee.
