Amy Christine Benson-Torres

Amy Christine Benson-Torres, 48, of Denver, CO passed away February 13, 2015. She was born in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. She graduated from Wheat Ridge High School. She was married to Peter Torres on August 23, 1997. Amy worked in the Insurance field for the American Family Insurance Co. Amy had a passion for Ice Skating, motorcycles, animals and antiques. She is survived by her husband, Pete Torres III, her parents Rich and Joan Benson, her mother-in-law Julie Torres and her father-in-law Pete Torres Jr and his wife Jovan, Godfather Stuart Benson, her brothers Scott, Stacy and Jeffrey Benson, brother-in-law Randy Torres, sister-in-laws; Roxanne Torres, Lori Torres, Debbie Benson and Jennifer Benson, nephews and niece; Rory and Reece Benson, Logan Shute, Montgomery and Cassio Hellige, her beloved pets; Nikolas Von Benson-Torres, Brutus Maximus and Blue Kitty. We will be honoring Amy at a memorial service on Friday, Feb. 20 at 11:00 am at the South Broadway Christian Church, 23 Lincoln St., Denver, CO 80203.
