I first met Barbara and other members of your family at St. Thomas Church. I knew that she was an author of children's books and that you had adopted Rosemary. Barbara was so f riendly and supportive when we adopted Sarah. Many years passed but I was happy to find Barbara at the J in group exercise classes. She and I shared many laughs as we struggled to keep up with the younger participants in Zumba and Step classes. More recently we enjoyed chatting between OLLI classes at the Central church. Barbara was so full of life that it is hard to believe that she is no longer among us. Please accept my sincere condolences.

Got to know Barb over the last 20 or so years duding pediatric faculty functions.

She would get Paul to our lunch meetings and would suggest restaurants that he would like.

I will remember her as a sweet caring lady and deeply devoted wife to Paul.

As a colleague and friend of yours for so many years at Children's Hospital, I know the value of someone who was always available and always could be trusted to say and do the right thing. You were the steady hand when I needed it and I know your beloved Barbara was always the same for you. She was a cheerful and calm presence, highly principled and not shy in expressing herself but always kindly. How she will be missed by us all, forever honored in our memories!

All our love,

Jim & Barbara Todd

Barbara won the respect, love, and admiration of those she worked with as Executive Director of Adoption Alliance and in the Denver adoption professional community. She had a special heart and care for children with special needs.

Dear Paul and all of Barb's beloved children, grandchildren and friends,
I am so very sorry to hear of Barb's passing. I can't begin to tell you how much she meant to me as a colleague and friend. She was a one-of-a-kind sparkling ray of light, and I know how much you will all miss her. She was very special to my daughters too, who knew her from early childhood on. I will share more memories later, but I just wanted you to know that I am thinking of you all.

I am so sad to hear of Barbara's passing. She has been the most lovely and kind neighbor to us for more than 30 years and we will miss her so very much. Barbara always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. Our sincere condolences to Paul and Barbara's entire family.

My thoughts and prayers to the family of this lovely woman. Backbone and best friend of Paul Moe whom I had the priviledge to support for many years while at Children's Hospital. Every year receiving a Christmas card from both of them and getting to converse with her while at annual functions.
I will always remember her cheerful smile and political spirit. I am sure her spirit is embracing her children and Paul now.
