Bruce attended South High School. After receiving his diploma, he received a certificate from Emily Griffith and began work as an Aviation Mechanic for Continental Airlines. He was very precise in his work, and took great pride in what he did. In his free time, he enjoyed building model airplanes. You could find model airplanes strewn across his home.
Bruce enjoyed fishing and hunting. He leaves his children many fond memories of firing guns out in the open space in the mountains of Colorado. Bruce was also a beekeeper, and spent a lot of his time taking after his bees.
One of Bruce's finest qualities was how dependable he was. He really cared for others. He was always there for his family. He was truly a man to look up to.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ferrell, and their two children, Scott (Ronda), and Rod (Jackie). He leaves behind four grandchildren; Benjamin, Lindsey, Garrett, and Lauren, and his sister, Gwen. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends.
