Carl Wehner passed away peacefully on Saturday August 23, 2025 at the age of 81 after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. He was born in Flint, Michigan on December 18, 1943 to Paul and Elfriede Wehner. He was the 3rd of 5 boys. The Wehners moved to Colorado in his youth and he lived in Colorado the rest of his life. He married Artha Carol Haviland on August 3, 1969 and enjoyed 56 years of marriage. He was raised in the Nazarene Church and was a lifelong faithful and devoted Christian.
Carl was educated in accounting at the University of Denver and ran his own Certified Public Accounting firm for many years. He enjoyed his clients and helping them with their financial issues. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles (specifically dirt bikes), hunting with friends, his church family and attending Wehner family gatherings. He especially loved his bright red 34 Chevy hotrod that he acquired later in life.
He is survived by his wife Artha, his brother Gordon, and many extended family members. He endured the deaths of his parents, 3 of his 4 brothers and many friends.
Carl's professional career included being the partner of several other CPAs, opening his own CPA firm in January 1976 and working with his friend and staff accountant, Pam Morgheim, for many many years.
He was very dedicated to his church life at Tower Community Fellowship and was a board member and treasurer for many years.

A visitation for Carl will be held Wednesday, September 10, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM.
A reception will occur after the Funeral ceremony all at at Tower Community Fellowship, 1800 S. Tower Rd., Aurora, CO 80013.
Committal service to follow at 2:00 PM, at Olinger Hampden Cemetery, 8600 East Hampden Ave, Denver, CO 80231.
