Carolyn Sue Farrell
June 5, 1933 – August 7, 2020
Carolyn Sue Farrell, 87, went home to be with Jesus Friday, August 7, 2020. Carolyn was born June 5, 1933 in Madison, West Virginia. She was the daughter of Percie and Elsie Snodgrass. She was preceded in death by sister Mary Jane Spencer and brother Hansel Snodgrass. She is survived by daughter Regina Delk (Michael), son Kenneth Farrell (Maria); granddaughter Tahlah Farrell; grandson Keegan Delk (Fawn); and three nephews and a niece Terry Spencer, Michael Snodgrass, Michael Farrell and Christine Farrell.
Before marrying Carolyn’s first job was always her favorite which was with the FBI in Washington, DC. . It was important to Carolyn to stay home and raise her children so after having children she didn’t work outside the home again until they were older. Carolyn loved spending time with family and friends and enjoyed the occasional glass of Merlot or a margarita. Her talents were playing the piano, sewing and decorating. She loved to decorate for the holidays and especially at Christmas. She had a passion for golf and reading. She read all types of books and always the Bible and participated in many book clubs and Bible studies. Carolyn and Regina hiked the Rockies for many summers and also enjoyed traveling together. Carolyn was kind and generous and had a strong faith in God.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. In Carolyn’s name, memorial donations may be made to the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association or the Cystinosis Research Foundation. She will always be in our hearts.

Regina and Ken,
We are so sorry for loss of your mother. There is such a bond between a mother and her children. No one can really explain the grief you are feeling. The few times I had the privilege of meeting her was special.
She will have her arms wrapped around you from heaven.
Consider yourselves hugged. If we can help you in any way we are a phone call away. Hugs to Mike who was always by Regina's side to help Carolyn and Regina.
Good friends are thinking of you!
Our deepest sympathy and prayers for you all.

It is with a heavy heart that Jim and I have lost such a wonderful longtime family member. She was to us family. We can feel blessed to have had her in our life and we can feel good that she is now in the hands of the Lord and in no more pain. The best gift she ever gave me was her daughter Regina, my best friend in the world. We’ve been friends since we were 14. I hurt for my friend, her mom was her best friend and there has never been a daughter who took such loving care of their mom for many years as Regina has. Regina’s husband Mike was always there beside his mother-in-law helping. Be rest assured good friends Regina and Mike, your mom was in your loving arm’s everyday here on earth, but now in loving arms in heaven. She was a woman of faith, Jim and I have no doubt we will see her again. We love you both. We send our love to Ken and family also, your mom loved you all and we already feel such a big loss in our life. Jim and Carol Withrow, Katie and John Helwig, David Withrow, Jaks and Trey
