Tom enjoyed sports and was an avid golfer. A fan of the Denver Broncos for more than 30+ years, he always looked forward to two of his favorite games…the Superbowl and the Masters. As long as there was a ball in it, Tom loved the sport.
He spent his career at United Airlines where he worked for over 30+ years in various positions including sales and customer service. After retiring, he spent time with family and friends. He also worked for a few years at PGA Tour Superstore where he helped people find the right clubs, balls, apparel, etc. PGA always accommodated his schedule as they loved having someone with his expertise and enthusiasm for golf at the store.
He served in the military and was a green beret. During that time, he made 105 parachute jumps. After training, he returned to Utah where he was a member of the Utah National Guard. Always a patriot, he loved his country.
Tom is survived by sons David, Jeff and Charles (Jane) along with one grandson, Lucas. He will be missed by his siblings: Gae (Peter) Hall, Barb D’Autremont, Don D’Autremont, Connie (Rick) Taylor, Kris (John) Canick and nieces and nephews. Tom’s sister Pat (John) Klepfer pre-deceased Tom.
A celebration of Tom’s life is being planned for Monday, July 25th at 10:00 at Olinger Hampden Mortuary, 8600 E. Hampden Avenue, Denver, CO.
