Our condolences to the Herrera Family.  Mr. Herrera was a wonderful man, you could just tell by his smile!  He will be greatly missed.  It was an honor knowing him and I'm sure you will miss him greatly.  Loss is sad, all we can do is remember the happy times/good memories.  Many blessings to you all!!

Our Dad, Eleuterio Gallegos, who passed away on October 4, 2012, was Charlie's first cousin and boyhood pal.  I didn't get to know Charlie very well myself, but my Dad always spoke of him with the greatest affection.  Just the mention of Charlie's name was enough to make my Dad nostalgic for his younger days back in Arroyo Hondo, NM.  Charlie and Mary attended my Dad's memorial last fall, and I know my Dad's spirit would want to be represented at Charlie's funeral as well.  Love to the whole family.  Tom Gallegos & Luann Woneis

Just want to give my condolences to the Herrera family. It has been a long time in seeing you but my thoughts and prayers are with all of you.I would like to share a poem I wrote for my mother (Rachel Padilla) when she passed : 
Heavens Tears
From the beginning of time each and every year,
Heaven has sent so many tears.
They watch from up above and see our pain,
So they send their tears in the form of rain.
They see and feel all of our sorrow,
but they try and let us know there's always tomorrow.
They watch our hurt which it does show,
So they send their tears in the form of snow.
We know our loved ones are in a better place,
but in our hearts there is an empty space.
They watch and try to comfort each and every one,
So the tears they send let us know this has to be done.
So when you see the rain or snow from up above,
It's only heavens tears showing all of their love.
