

It is with great sadness that the family of Charles Steven Hill announce his passing on Sunday, November 12th 2017, at the age of 78 years. Charles is survived by his wife, Cherry Ann Hill; his sister Loretta Alvessie Brown; and his children, Jefferson Wayne Burkes, Charlotte Ann Hills and Tyrone Hill. Charles will also be forever remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and dear friends. Charles was preceded in death by parents Walter George Hill and Essie Mae (Stephens) Hill, and his brother Thomas Edward Hill.
Born in Fort Scott, Kansas on February 2nd1939, a young adult Charles decided to join the Unites States Coast Guard. After serving his country, Charles began his career in carpentry and design, spending the next 50 years working at Merchants Office Furniture supervising staff, designing, building, and repairing furniture for many federal buildings in use today.
An avid hunter and fisherman, Charles enjoyed the outdoors, but also enjoyed spending time with his family. Although he was a quiet man, Charles was an inspiring messenger who was filled with wisdom, confidence and love. Charles walked with Christ during his life and Christ embraced him during his passing.
As our graceful leader continues his journey, Charles Steven Hill will be greatly missed by all.

Burial Ceremony will take place Wednesday, November 22nd, 2017 from 9:30am-9:50am at Ft. Logan National Cemetery | 4400 W Kenyon Avenue | Denver CO 80236
