Chris was special to me. He represented s free, wandering aspect that my children never demonstrated.  The searching and direction finding led to many experiences. He is a gift to our family!

When the Sidney family moved into Groveton, we became Grandma and Granddaddy. We remember Chris growing up and that cute smile, and he sure did always have a twinkle in his eyes. Chris learned to drive his father's straight stick truck on our street, and he had it figured out in one day. We will miss you, Chris. Sending our love to the family. 

He was my "Kissy  Face" from  a little boy.  He was the sweetest little boy and the same as a grown man.  He always had that sparkle in his eyes.  My prayers have been with him for a long time, and I loved him very much.  I will miss him and pray he is at peace now.

We had such a wonderful time when the family visited us in Texas... Chris was curious and wanted to know how everything worked.  He learned to "smoke a brisket" ... a good Texas tradition.   We loved visiting with him and hearing of his adventures...

Chris was my person. The one that showed up when you least expected and didn’t leave until you were both in tears. He had an infectious smile and an energy you’ve only experienced if you were privileged enough to share space with him. Chris was kind hearted and was the most welcoming person I’ve ever met. What you saw was what you got. He loved to cook, he aggressively cleaned, he was the kind of person that called just to hear you speak. I am fortune enough to  have gotten to know him on a deeper, vulnerable level and am grateful for all the time we spent together. My friend, my roommate, and in the past year he spent a lot of time as my personal therapist and chef. He was family. My heart aches for him and all the people who held him close to their hearts. I am so glad i got to know him and was able to breathe his air. I’m going to miss him tremendously. My thoughts, prayers and hugs are with all of you.
