He then moved to Colorado where he and his wife (Florence) lived until their death.
He was a home builder and worked for Schillinger Construction almost 40 years.
He built homes in Littleton and Evergreen for his family.
He loved hunting, fishing, traveling, eating good food and in his later years, gardening, especially roses and raspberries.
Some of the best memories for the family were trips with Ports of Call, fishing at lakes on the Ducan Flattops Wilderness Area. They owned a camper and later a RV and really enjoyed the social opportunities with each campground or RV park where they went.
Clarence was talented with his hands and in later years made wood and stone carvings and jewelry.
He belonged to VFW, American Legion, and Mitchell Camper Caravan 8. Clarence was a WWII Army veteran.
He was a good bowler, even after cutting off his thumb
with a table saw.
Clarence and Florence had a host of friends and they loved playing cards and visiting around the campfire.
They are missed by their family.
