

He was born August 13, 1933, to Merrill and Thelma Blair.
On April 12, 1954, he married the love of his life, Elsie D. Blair. Shortly after getting married, Buzz and Elsie moved to Quincy, Massachusetts, where he served in the United States Army as a member of its Air and National Defense Battery.
After concluding his service in the United States Army, Buzz began a long and storied career as a Greyhound Racing owner and trainer. Among his many accomplishments were numerous stake winners and kennel championships. One of his finest greyhounds was a Colorado fan favorite and Timberline winner, Cherokee Go. He treasured the many friends made during his years in Greyhound Racing. He is survived by his wife, four children (Robin, Tammy, Gary, and David), and six grandchildren (Rachel, Clint, Elizabeth, Zac, Shane, and Olivia). He was preceded in death by his brother, Carroll Blair.
