Dale Franklin Conklin, 83, of Littleton, Colorado died Tuesday, February 4, 2014, after a long, painful struggle with Alzheimer’s disease. Born in Enid, Oklahoma in 1930, Dale grew up poor and hungry with a strong desire to better his condition in life. After serving in the United States Marine Corps, he attended Enid Business College where he earned a degree in Accounting. Moving to Denver, Colorado with his young family in 1955, Dale operated his own Tax and Accounting business for many years, which is still going strong today. Work was his pride and joy, with his spare time being spent on gardening and family.
He is survived by wife Carolyn, daughters Rhonda (Boyle) and Diane (Sparks), grandsons Brandon and Ryan, granddaughter Heidi, and great
granddaughters Maddison and Nikki.
A patient, jovial, and loving man, Dale is missed by all who knew him. He won’t be soon forgotten.
