I graduated from Whiteland High School with Dewayne in 1966. Met him when I transferred to Whiteland. He was a nice guy and fun being around. Seems like if you were having a bad day, he could always put a smile on your face. Linda sending you and family my deepest sympathy for the loss of your loved one, and May God Bless you and embrace you in his loving arms. You will have memories always of Dewayne and the love for him in your heart.

So many wonderful memories... sharing a cabin in Estes Park, tromping through a snowy Yellowstone Park,(Dewayne, Jay and the elk harem); and the Halloween you showed up at our front door all the way from Denver and we sat up to the early morning eating pie and laughing until our sides hurt.
We have been so blessed by your friendship, and these memories will always bring a special smile to our face. Please know that our love, thoughts and prayers are with you.

Linda, Dewaynes humor and complete knowledge of ham radio and travel trailers will be missed by all. He could always be counted on for help with just a quick question and if he didn't know the answer he would find it another way. I utilized his trailer knowledge numerous times and never had to worry about whether it was right or wrong. He is going to be missed by all. Mine and Sherrie's thoughts and prayers will always be with you.

I was deeply saddened at the loss of Dewayne. I didn't know him as well as some of my other classmates, but I always remember him as a cheerful and friendly guy who was fun to be around! Just recently we found out that we were both related to the same ancestor who came over on the Mayflower - Edward Doty - and had corresponded several times about it. Our Class Reunion work this year put all of us in touch with so many people we hadn't connected with in years. I hope that we will remain in touch in both good and sad times from now on.
Linda, please accept my sincerest sympathy in your loss of Dewayne! May God Bless!
